Children as follows were born to them: Jacob, deceased, married Emma Yoxhammer, who now lives in Chicago, Ill.; Henry, deceased, married Sarah Bachert, who resides in East Brunswick township; Benjamin is next in the order of birth; Priscilla married Jacob Marbach, and they reside at Middleport, Pa.; Amanda married Harry McMullin, and they reside at Reading, Pa.; Mary married Solomon Bachert, and they are residents of East Brunswick township; Lizzie married a Mr. Reed, and both are deceased; Emma married Frank Halderman, and resides at New Haven, Conn. Mr. and Mrs. Schaffer are buried at the Frieden's Church, New Ringgold."
