Dorothy M. Baney, 87, formerly of Lewistown, died at 1:10 a.m. Monday, April 30, 2001, at the Brookline Manor Nursing Home, Mifflintown.
Born Oct. 9, 1913, in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Milton and Julia (Downer) Schaeffer.
Her husband, Daniel L. Baney of McVeytown, whom she married in 1969, survives. She is also survived by a son, Ray C. "Chip" Aumiller III, Lewistown; a sister, Patricia Arnold, Juniata County; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Bohn Funeral Home, Reedsville, with Marshall Deckard officiating. Interment will be in Birch Hill Cemetery, Burnham. Friends may call 10 a.m. until the time of the service Thursday at the funeral home.
