Mrs. Mary Huelsmann, widow of Frank Huelsmann, former Springfield grocer and a resident of this city for many years, died at 8:30 a.m. yesterday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Joseph Stelte, of near Ashland. She was 87 years old. Death followed a long illness.
Mrs. Huelsmann left this city thirty years ago following the death of her husband. Mr. Huelsmann operated a grocery store at 1401 East Edwards street for several years.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Stelte, and seven grandchildren.
Remains were removed to the Staab funeral home and were taken to the residence of Mrs. Stelte last night where funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. tomorrow and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Augustine's church in Ashland. Rev. D.J. Quinn will officiate.
Burial will be in Calvary cemetery in this city.
