Marsha K. Lynch, 65, of Hoopeston passed away on Friday, December 25, 2015 at IU Medical Center in Indianapolis. She was born on March 24, 1950 in Watseka, the daughter of William J. and Martha Kincade Scherf.

Ms. Lynch is survived by her step-father, Alban Pitts of Watseka; one sister, Jo (Rod) Newman of Sheldon; three nieces, Tammy (Tracy) Wilson, Layn Newman, and Jalyn Newman; two nephews, Johon Williams and Tyler (Samantha) Newman; two great nephews, Bradley and David Williams; two great great-nephews; and two great-great nieces.

Marsha was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Mary Fegett.

She loved her cats and enjoyed spending time on her computer while connecting with friends.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at the Knapp Funeral Home in Milford. Rev. Neil Larimore will officiate. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Milford. Visitation will be from 11-12:45 before the funeral services on Tuesday.

Memorials may be made to the Illinois Special Olympics.
