Beula K. Allison, age 83, passed away at her home on Monday, June 2, 2008, following a period of declining health.

Beula Schneider was born August 5, 1924 in Marlette, the daughter of the late Martin F. Schneider and Clara K. (Scifferlein) Schneider. She was united in marriage with George E. Allison on February 14, 1948 in Detroit, and came to the Caro area with him in 1950. George preceded her in death on July 8, 1985. Beula was employed at the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility as a receptionist and resident care-provider from 1957 until her retirement in 1986. She was a member of the Caro United Methodist Church and the Caro VFW Post #4164 Auxiliary. Beula will be best remembered as a loving mother and grandmother that cherished every moment with her family. She also enjoyed gardening, owls, and was an avid Detroit Tigers fan.

Beula Allison was survived by three sons, Robert G. Allison of Mt. Pleasant, Jerry E. Allison of Caro, and Loren F. Allison of Caro; five grandchildren, Andrea Miller of Au Gres, Courtney F. Abbott of Au Gres, Joshua Allison of Mt. Pleasant, Rachael Allison of Columbiaville and Ashley Allison of Columbiaville; three great-grandchildren, Gage, Jasmine and Kippy.

In addition to her husband, Beula was preceded in death by an infant grandson in 1975 and a sister, Ethel Babcock in 1989.
