Frederick Schuman, who has been sick for the past two months with dropsy, died on Wednesday and his funeral will take place today, services being held at his late residence at 1 o'clock, after which the interment will occur and then final services held at the German Lutheran church. Deceased was born in West Prussia, July 31, 1828, and came to Allegan over 28 years ago. For 28 years he was employed at Oliver & Co at their furniture factory and was a skillful and valued workman. He was a member of the German Arbeiter Verein.
