DECKERVILLE - Services for Amelia Schuman, 84, McGregor, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Carmen Funeral Home, Carsonville. The Rev. O.N. Behringer, pastor of Peace Lutheran Church, Sandusky, will officiate. Burial will be in Downing Cemetery, Deckerville.

Mrs. Schuman died Friday, July 20, 1979, in Deckerville Community Hospital. She was born July 11, 1895 in Susannenthal, Russia. She was an area resident for 50 years. She married Fred Schuman Oct. 28, 1917, in Port Huron. He died April 22, 1958.

She is survived by five sons, John, Port Huron, Henry, Pensacola, Fla., Alexander, MeGregor, William, Carsonville, and Robert, Jeddo; and six daughters, Mrs. Edsel (Rosy) Schultz, Southgate, Mrs. Verol (Dorothy) Sweet, Port Huron, Mrs. Robert (Lydia) Parks, Capac, Mrs. Donald (Ella) Orvis, Mesa, Ariz., Mrs. Nelson (Ruth) Truitt, Marlette, Mrs. Gerald (Jean) Jasper, North Branch. Three sons, Emil, Christopher and Walter, and two daughters, Mary and Edna, died earlier.
