Marion (Seidl) Weister 78, died Sunday, July 19, 1998, in the House of the Dove, Marshfield. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Michael’s Church of Hewitt. The Rev. Michael Shelble will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Marion was born June 22, 1920, in the Township of Sherman, Clark County, to Leo and Colletta (Durst) Seidl. She lived in Hewitt until her marriage to George Weiss there on November 10, 1938, in Hewitt, when she moved to Wisconsin Rapids.

For the last 12 years she was a library clerk of McMillan Memorial Library in Wisconsin Rapids.

Survivors include one son, Rick (Lynne) Weiser, Eau Claire; 3 daughters Nancy (Steve) Zalewski, Santa Rosa, California; Sharyn (David) Krumrei, Oshkosh; and Debbie Dampier, Wisconsin Rapids; six brothers, LeRoy (Marion) Seidl, Eugene (Ruth) Rau, all of Marshfield; and Clarence (Margaret) Seidl, Austin Texas; Larry Seidl, Menasha and Clem Rau, Eau Claire; 6 sisters, Veronica Kopf, Rita (John) Fischer and Dorothy (Wally) Jonas, all of Marshfield; Millie Grimm, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; Pat (Roger) Rogney, Appleton; and Betty Beck, Schofield; one sister-in-law, Dottie Rau, Neenah; and 8 grandchildren, Daniel Krumrei, Tiffany (Pat) Dragani, Stacy Krumrei, Robert (Darcy) Dampier, Calli Dampier, Sarah Weister, Michelle Weister and Kelsey Weister. She was predeceased by her parents, and infant son, George, one brother James Rau and two stepfathers, Frank Rau and Orin Droste.

Friends may call at St. Michael’s Church of Hewitt from 10 a.m. until time of services on Friday. Richay Funeral Home, Wisconsin Rapids, is in charge of arrangements.
