Florence Dvorachek, of 533 Madison Street, Reedsville, was called to her
eternal rest on Saturday, December 21, 1991 at Holy Family Memorial Medical
Center, Manitowoc, following a lengthy illness. Funeral Mass will be at 10
a.m. on Tuesday, December 24, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Reedsville,
with the Rev. Nicholas Johannes officiating. Burial will be in the parish
cemetery.
She was born May 12, 1915 in Riess Mills, daughter of the late Frank and
Barbara Leitermann Seidl. She was married to Steve Dvorachek on August 2,
1939, at St. Anne's Catholic Church at Francis Creek and has resided in
Reedsville since that time. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church,
Reedsville, the Christian Mother's Society. She was a charter member of the
K of C Women's Club of Manitowoc and was a charter member and past President
of the Reedsville Lioness Club.
Survivors include her husband, Steve; two daughters and sons-in-law, Dorothy
and Joe Charney of Maribel, Kathy and Tom Mertons of Brillion; three sons
and two daughters-in-law, Donald and Karla of Sleepy Hollow, Ill., Kenneth
and Debbie of Manitowoc and John of Frankfort, Germany; five sisters and two
brothers-in-law, Rose Kliment of Kellnersville, Helen Denk, Evangeline Seidl,
Marcella and Melvin Krejcarek, and LaVerne and Dan Matczynski, all of
Manitowoc; one brother and sister-in-law, Clarence and Rita Seidl of Manitowoc.
She is further survived by eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by
her parents, one sister and two brothers.
Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home in Reedsville from 4 p.m. until
9 p.m. on Monday and also at the church on Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. until the
time of service. There will be a parish vigil at 7:30 p.m. Monday evening.
