Obituary of Penny Haveman
Penny L. (Seton) Haveman, 65, passed away peacefully at St. Francis Care Center January 21, 2017. She was born to Elmer and Gladys (German) Seton on July 9, 1951 in Bellingham, WA. She graduated from Bellingham High School. She spent her life as a farmer’s wife, homemaker, and loving mother to her children. In later years she was a caregiver to her parents and ailing brother. She became “Mom” to all her children’s friends, welcoming everyone into her home and heart. She was her children’s biggest supporter attending basketball or softball games or the demolition derby to cheer them on. She was always there for her children. Penny was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Don Seton. She is survived by her sister Vicky Seton, children Ronnie (Tracee) Haveman, Amy (Chris) Stenberg, John Haveman, Joey (Lisa) Haveman and numerous cousins. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Mended Heart Foundation, St. Francis Care Center or a charity of your choice.
