Anne M. Parks of Waco passed away Monday, March 13, 2017. Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 17, at St. Catherine Chapel. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be one hour before the service at St. Catherine Chapel.

Anne was born November 19, 1919, in New York, New York, to Oliver and Rose Seton. Anne worked for many years as a fifth grade teacher at St. Patrick’s Catholic School in Yorktown Heights, New York, followed by many years at Lakeland Middle School, teaching math and science.

She and her husband, John H. Parks, moved to Waco in 1979, when he was transferred as the Plant Manager of Marathon Battery Company. She was an avid golfer and bridge player. Recently, she was a very active member of the Harrison Senior Center.

Anne was preceded in death by her parents; siblings; and husband, Jack.

She is survived by her daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many dear friends.
