HARKEY - Frances (Mazur), 80, from North Bay Shore, passed away Sunday, at home after courageously battling cancer. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved with her family to North Bay Shore in 1961. She was predeceased by her son Thomas in 1989 and her husband William in 1990. She is survived by her son William and wife, Noreen of Manalapan, NJ, daughter Maureen and Jeff Stewart of Bayport, NY and daughter Donna and Steve Davis of Sanford, FL; her 7 cherished grandchildren: Tiffany and Brett Ketcham, Rachael, Patrick, Thomas, Heather, Ryan & Brenden; and her 3 great-grandchildren: Taylor, Tatum and Cole. Reposing at The Michael J. Grant Funeral Homes Inc., 571 Suffolk Ave., Brentwood. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday 9:45 a.m. at St. Anne's RC Church, Brentwood. Interment following at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Coram. Family will receive friends to celebrate Frances' life Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donaions be made to the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation. www.grantfh.com
