Grace Margaret Shaw Miller Bench

Manti, Utah-- Grace Margaret Shaw Miller Bench, 94, passed away August 23, 2006 in Richfield. She was born March 23, 1912, to Roy and Bertha May Shaw. Grace married William L. Miller in 1933. He preceded her in death, February 1942.

There children are Franklin K. Miller, (deceased), Springville and Reta Black, West Valley City. She married George E. Bench in February, 1943. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. He preceded her in death, February 1987. Theie children are James Bench, Manti and Marsha Griffin, Richfield. Grace enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a hard worker and finally retired from her job as a seamstress when she was 78. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She is survived by daughters, Reta Black, and Marsha Griffin and son, James Bench.13 grand-children, and 10 great-Grandchildren and two more on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and sisters, son, Frank Miller, son-in-law, Raymond Griffin, and grandson, Michael Franks.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 28, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. in the Manti LDS Tabernacle, 96 South Main, Manti. Friends may call at the tabernacle in Manti on Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. and again at the tabernacle on Monday from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Manti City Cemetery.

Funeral directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
