Charlene, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, lost her battle with cancer on July 17, 2007 at the age of 68. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert J. Asbury; parents, William and Verda Shaw; and brothers, Melvin Shaw; and an unnamed baby. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Taylor (Scot); son, Paul Asbury; and grandchildren: Ashley, Alex and Zachary. Charlene loved to serve others and made many friends during her time here. She will be missed by us all. We will never forget her words of encouragement and love. The family wishes to thank the many friends, family, hospice workers and ward members that helped her through her trials during her last days on earth. Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 23, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the LDS Cottonwood Heights 3rd Ward Building at 6890 S. 2228 E. Friends and family may attend a viewing Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 and also from 9:45 to 10:45 at the church. Interment, Coalville City Cemetery. Funeral Directors, Walker Mortuary, Coaville.
