She was a member of the Baptist Church and lived a true Christian life. She is survived by eight children, a husband who had deserted her; her mother, Mrs. Margaret Tucker; and grandmother, Mrs. Ann Tucker; three sisters, Mrs. Lena Crab, Mrs. Nettie Ross and Mrs. Delar Ashcraft, four brothers, Lester, Willie, Ervin and Dorsie Shelby, a large number of other relatives.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. O.A. Ashcraft at Prosperity Tuesday afternoon at 5 o'clock. Flowers and kind words of sympathy were a short expression of the love and high esteem given her by her many friends.
