Mrs. Patricia Anne Sheriff Bell, age 78, of Eastanollee, GA, received her Angel Wings, Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Born October 19, 1938 in Martin, GA, she was a daughter of the late J. B. and Lottie Lou Herron Sheriff.
She was a member of Toms Creek Baptist Church. Anne and her husband Howard owned and operated Bell's Gas and Grocery for many years and she also worked with the Georgia Baptist Assembly.
Family members include her husband, William Howard Bell; sons and a daughter-in-law, David and Pamela Bell of Eastanollee and Dennis Bell of Eastanollee; a grandson, William Hunter Bell of CA; brother and sister-in-law, William Dewey and Virginia Sheriff of Eastanollee; sisters and a brother-in-law, Willie Mae and L. T. Owens of Toccoa and Ollie Marie Keller of Toccoa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Johnny Sheriff, James Sheriff, and Daniel Sheriff; and a sister, Alma Stowe.
Funeral services will be held at eleven o'clock Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Toms Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayne Marcus and the Rev. Clack Stubbs.
Burial will follow at Stephens Memorial Gardens.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Rex Dooley, Terry Dooley, Rodney Sheriff, Adrian Sheriff, Tim Wall, and Stan Elrod.
The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 2pm – 4pm and 6pm – 8pm Friday, March 17, 2017.
Flowers are optional. Those desiring may make memorials to the American Cancer Society or the Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center, 2150 Limestone Pkwy., Suite 222, Gainesville, GA 30501. www.nghs.com
