The rosary will be recited at 7:30 tonight in the Sheelar-McFadyen Chapel for Walter Sherman, 74, of 2739 Mariquita. St. Mass of requiem will be offered Tuesday at 9 a. m. in St Matthew's Church with interment following in All Souls Cemetery Mr. Sherman was born in Petersburg, W. Va. He died Friday. He belonged to the U P Old-timers Club, Surviving are the wife, Eva sisters, Mrs. Emma Haskell and Mrs. Ada Vandiver, and a brother Ray Sherman.
