LAWANDA ATTEBERRY LaWanda Wayne Atteberry passed away peacefully on Sunday October 18th, 2015. She was born on March 14, 1933 to Clifford and Jewel Sherman. She attended Gridley Schools and was active in Rainbow Daughters. While attending Chico State University she met and married Dean Dixon. They had two daughters, DeAnn Akins (Bill) and Kim Summers, (Rick). In 1964 she married Harley Atteberry. They had two daughters, Alisa Costa, (Leonard) and Julie Neville, (Tom). In 1995 Harley and LaWanda move to go fishing at Eagle Lake. LaWanda was preceded in death by Harley in 1998. LaWanda remained at Eagle Lake until her death. She leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and many friends from Eagle Lake. She will be missed. Arrangements are being made by Brusie Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at the Vina Cemetary, Thursday, October 29th at 1:00pm.
