Annmarie Shirazi was born February 21, 1948 in Trumbull, CT to Donald and Ruth Harvey. She was married to Ghulam "Jim" Shirazi for seventeen years and had two children. Annmarie attended Southern Connecticut State University before completing her Doctorate in Educational Psychology at Oklahoma State University in 1975. She worked at Oklahoma City Community College from 1975 to 2004, retiring as the Dean of Planning and Institutional Effectiveness. Annmarie was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sister Maryellen; daughter Saarah; son Sam; son-in-law James; step-son Shaan; grandsons Jamison and Jarrett; granddaughter Jenevieve; nieces Tracy and Dana; nephew Matthew; and cousin Julia Avery. A Funeral Mass will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, June 26, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Edmond.
