AGAN

Mary Louise Agan, oldest daughter of William and Anna Shore was born April 18 1900, in Pleasant Township in Lucas County. She passed away May 20, 1975, at Memorial Hospital, following a short illness, at the age of 75 years, one month and two days.

She lived her entire life in Lucas County. On April 22, 1925, she was united in marriage to Otis Agan. To this union were born two daughters, Corrine Cain of Chariton and Wilma Prewitt of Florissant, Mo., both of whom survive.

Along with her husband, she leaves to mourn, two sons-in-law, Arthur Cain and Dr. James Prewitt; three granddaughters, Sylvia and Darci Prewitt of Florissant, Mo., and Cynthia Prewitt of Wanthaggi, Victoria, Australia; two grandsons and their wives, Calvin and Mary Ruth Cain of Slater and Curtis and Caroline Cain of Chariton. She has two sisters, Clara Westman of Russell; Georgia Hubler of Columbia and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents; one grandson, Larry Cain and one sister, Mae Covey.

She accepted Christ as her Savior when a young woman in her early twenties. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all her loved ones.

Funeral services were conducted by Pastor Robert Sauser at 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 23. Interment was at Zion Cemetery. Arrangements were by the Fielding Funeral Home.
