CHICO ENTERPRISE-RECORD, Monday, March 27, 1972: "Irma I. Conrad. Funeral services for Irma Irene Conrad, 50, of 381 E. Ninth St. will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Brusie Funeral Home. She died Saturday at a local hospital.
"Born May 25, 1921, in Willits, she was a graduate of Chico schools. Her mother's family, the Clevelands, were early settlers in the area. She worked for Tri-Co Almonds for 10 years.
"Mrs. Conrad was a member of the Bidwell Bottle Club and the Junior Art Club.
"She is survived by her husband, William; a daughter, Judith Zorack of Denver, Colo.; two sons, Wesley W. of Vacaville and William Jr. of Chico; two brothers, Wesley Shore of Chico and Maurice Shore of West Sacramento.
"The Rev. Mike McPhillips of the Assembly of God Church of Capay will officiate.
"Pallbearers will be Mike Aicega, Grady Bobinger, Bill Martin, George Whittaker, Warren Dreiss and William Heathorn. Interment will be in Glen Oaks Memorial Park."
