Marilyn Simms Bevins, 80, died peacefully at Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Wednesday.
Mrs. Bevins was born in Rectorville, June 23, 1931, to the late Leonard (Mark) and Lula Hamm Simms. She was a member of the Olivet United Methodist Church and in recent years attended the Lewisburg Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Wilber Simms; and sisters, Irene Simms, Lillian Katherine Simms, Christine Fritz, Mary Wallingford, and Loretta Manning.
