Evelyn Mary Simon Crowley, 81, of Independence, died Friday at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood.

She was a homemaker, a retired underwriter from Hardware Mutual Life Insurance, and a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church, Erlanger, and the church's Senior Citizens Club, Red Hat Society, and the Simon Family Card Club.

A son, Billy Crowley, preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, Mike Crowley of Key West, Fla.; brothers, Cliff Simon and Frank Simon, both of Cold Spring, and Lou Simon of Fort Wright; sisters, Ruth Kramer of Southgate and Anna Mae Ritter of Cold Spring; and one grandchild.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Barbara Catholic Church, Erlanger. Visitation will begin there at noon Tuesday. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Cold Spring.
