Maudine "Deannie" Basham, age 85 and longtime Irving resident, died on August 17, 2014. She was born in Roby, Texas on January 12, 1929 to Charlie and Mary Williams Sims. Deannie was a long time member of the First Christian Church of Irving and worked as teacher's aide for the Irving School District until her retirement. She is preceded in death by her parents and beloved husband, Hubert Basham and will be greatly missed by her two sons.
