Funeral services for Mrs. Carl R. Coatney, 62, of 506 N. Denver, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Dudley M. Hughes Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Laurel Land Memorial Park.

Mrs. Coatney, a native of Italy, Ellis County, was found dead of a gunshot wound in her home Thursday afternoon. Justice of the Peace Joe B. Brown Jr. ruled her death a suicide.

Survivors: Husband; two brothers, Fred Sims of Dallas and Clarence Sims of Houston, and a sister, Mrs. Charles Bishop of Dallas.
