Adams, Frances Allen 82, of Whitney passed away on December 8, 2010. Services: Tuesday December 14, 2010, 10:00AM Marshall & Marshall Chapel Whitney, TX. Officiating; Rev. Allie Davenport Rev. Jerry Irvin. Interment: 1:30 PM, Restland Memorial Park, Dallas, TX. Frances was born on January 5, 1928 in Dallas; the daughter of the late Marion Sims and Vera Arabell Thurmond Allen. She lived in the Dallas area most of her life and graduated from Crozier Tech in January 1945. She was one of two lady auditors for Lane Gorman in the 50's and 60's and later became manager of the Warren Clark Commercial Development. She was a real estate agent in Dallas for ten years before moving to Whitney in 1991. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts including painting, flower arranging and other craft related activities. Frances held Monday night bible studies at her home for many years. She dearly loved all of her grandchildren who all had four legs. She was a member of King Memorial United Methodist Chur-ch in Whitney; The McCown Valley Community Center and the Emmaus Community. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Roy Thurmond Allen and sister, Margaret Reynolds. Survivors include her children, Betsy Eagle and husband Darren of Dallas; Steve Adams of Dallas and Kathy Rymer and husband Danny of Whitney.
