Mrs. Sarah H. Lane, wife of William Lane of Long Branch, died last Thursday. She was the daughter of Robert Smith, and was born at Deal, February 26, 1847. She leaves a husband and one son. She had been a very active member of the Long Branch Presbyterian church, and for nearly fifteen years she had been treasurer of the ladies' auxiliary society of the church.
