Marjorie Eileen Kipfer Nurse Instructor Retired Marjorie E. Kipfer, 91, of Visalia passed away on August 24, 2013 in Visalia CA. after battling with cancer. She was born in New York City, NY to Charles Smith and Jessie Thompson Taylor Greene. Marjorie was educated and graduated from North Field Seminary, Cochran School of Nursing, Saint Johns Riverside Hospital, and Adelphi University. Her special interest included Health Education, her Religion, and Genealogy and was an active member of the DAR in Tulare. Marjorie was married to Thomas H. De Nicola, father of her two children and who subsequently divorced in CA, she married John D. Walker, George E. La Duc, Francis Kipfer and has been a widow for twelve years. Marjorie asked that a special thank you be given to Dianne Ritter and Roy Birrer for caring for her in her last days and to all my family and friends who came to visit her in her final days. And a special thank you to Hospice for making it comfortable. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest remembrances/donations be made to the organization of their choice. She is survived by her son Michael De Nicola of New York, daughter Sandy Wirth of Maryland, granddaughter Caryn Keller of Maryland, grandson Paul Wirth of North Carolina, stepdaughter Konda Carter of California, great granddaughter Caty Keller of Maryland, great grandson Tyler Keller of Maryland, great granddaughters Madeline Wirth and Angela Wirth of North Carolina and Michael De Nicola of New York. Private burial at the Moravian Cemetery in Staten Island, New York.
