For twenty-three years, Mrs. Cromer worked for the American Stock Exchange in Manhattan, providing market updates for radio reports. She retired in 1999.
She enjoyed traveling and often took trips overseas with her travel club.
Mrs. Cromer was a parishioner of St. Teresa's R.C. Church, Castleton Corners.
Surviving are her husband of fifty-one years, Sylvester; her son, David; her daughter, Sharon Cromer; a brother, Thomas Smith; a sister, Eleanor Breneton; and six grandchildren.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday from the Casey Funeral Home, Castleton Corners, with a Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Teresa's Church.
Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Pleasant Plains.
