OKATIE, S.C. -- Thelma Lee Smith Allen, 66, died Feb. 3 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital in Beaufort.
She was born in Alma, Ga. She owned and operated the Siesta Restaurant and Plantation Restaurant for many years. She worked at Calvary Christian Academy and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

SURVIVORS: a son, David C. Allen of Ridgeland; three daughters, Karen A. Smith of Moncks Corner, Kelia A. Head of Okatie and Kimberly A. Nettles of Ridgeland; a brother, Henry Elma Smith of Dublin, Ga.; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

FUNERAL: 10 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church in Ridgeland. BURIAL: 3 p.m. Saturday in Antioch Cemetery in Twin City, Ga. -Savannah Now, Feb 1999
