Hazel McCulloch, age 87 of 121 W. Simmons St., Galesburg, IL died at 1:37 AM Tuesday January 15, 2008 at Rosewood Care Center.

She was born November 29, 1920 in Knox County, IL the daughter of Herbert and Cora Ward Smith. She married Bill L. McCulloch on May 10, 1941 in Kahoka, MO. He preceded her in death on September 8, 2001.

She is survived by one son, Daniel L. (and Bobbi) McCulloch of Galesburg, one grandson, Petty Officer Jason D. (and Victoria) McCulloch, and two great grandchildren, Alexia and Skyler McCulloch.

She was preceded in death by two sisters.

She lived in the Galesburg area all her life, attending school in London Mills, IL. She worked for Joe the Tailor in Galesburg for 33 years and later worked in the lunch room for School District 205 for 6 years, retiring in 1984.

She was a member of the First Church of God and a member of a number of bowling leagues.

Graveside services will be at East Linwood Cemetery.
