GALESBURG - Georgia Pearl Cotton, 80, of 1384 N. Henderson St. died at 8:53 p.m. Monday, May 27, 2002, at Galesburg Cottage Hospital.
Born March 30, 1922, in Maquon to Harley Clifford and Ruth Merle Pratt Smith, she married Willard Cotton in 1937. He died in 1990.
She also was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Surviving are three daughters, Lois (and Jack) Wensel, Brenda Clark (and Alan Martin Sr.) and Lori Smith, all of Galesburg; one son, Willard of Arizona; one sister, Pauline Halloway of Reno, Nev.; five grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Memorial Park Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Watson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
