KINGMAN - Martha Lou Campbell, 81, died June 20, 2010, at Wheatlands Healthcare Center, Kingman. She was born Dec. 13, 1928, in Kingman, the daughter of Clifford Zelora and Lura Audrey Layman Sparks. A lifetime resident of Kingman, she was the retired Kingman County Register of Deeds. She was a member of Kingman Christian Church, Della Chapter OES #172, past president of the Kansas Register of Deeds, and former Mother Advisor of Rainbow Girls.

On July 27, 1947, she married Paul D. Campbell in Kingman. He died Oct. 19, 1965. Survivors include: two daughters, Zelora Ann Campbell and Audrey Manny; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Kingman Christian Church. Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman, with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made with the Mary Quilter's, the Kingman Christian Church Building Fund and Della Chapter OES, all in care of the funeral home. (From Hutchnews)
