Delta, Colorado resident, Nancy Clairday, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at her residence. She was 53 years of age.

Nancy Jay Spinelli was born on November 23, 1962 to Thomas and Minnie Spinelli in California. She moved to Delta in 1994.

Nancy is survived by her boyfriend of five years, Bruce Greer of Delta; two sons: Brian Clairday of Mammoth Springs, Arkansas and Gary Clairday of Grand Junction, Colorado; three grandchildren: Jason, Sadie and Jaylynn, also of Grand Junction; a sister, Linda Wilcox of Delta; two brothers: John Spinelli of Eckert and Richard Spinelli of California; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Minnie Spinelli; a sister, Shirley Spinelli and a son, Cpl. Jason Clairday, a U.S. Marine who was killed in action in the Iraq conflict, an action for which he was posthumously awarded the Navy Cross.
