Born in Hanover Township, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Sarah Spivak and graduated from Hanover High School.
She owned and operated NY Fashions, a women's dress store, on East Market Street, Wilkes-Barre, and was a member of the former Anshe Emes Synagogue, the former United Orthodox Synagogue, a member of Congregation Ohav Zedek and Eastern Star.
Sally was preceded in death by her husband, Irving Leibman; daughter, Sandra Leibman; and six siblings.
She is survived by son, Jerry Leibman, and his wife, Ileene, Apopka, Fla.; four grandchildren, Missy Hibbs and her husband, Ron, Yardley, Pa.; Debbie Parker, Stafford, Va.; Lisa Beck and her husband, Paul, Arlington, Texas; Alicia Carpenter, Mount Dora, Fla.; six great-grandchildren, Justin, Samantha, Hannah, Autumn, Joshua and Jordan; nieces and nephews. Sally enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who loved her dearly.
Graveside Funeral service will be held Thursday at 3:30 p.m. in Anshe Emes Cemetery, Rear Blanchard Street, Plains, with Rabbi Raphael Nemetsky officiating.
Shiva will be observed in Philadelphia.
