Arline A. Clenin, 92, of Brunswick, died Monday, June 11, 2012 at Fairhaven Assisted Living.

Funeral services will be held 11AM Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Twitty Chapel, First Baptist Church in Brunswick, Georgia with Rev. Jim Wigdon and Rev. Jim Wilkerson officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Staff members of Heartland Hospice and Fairhaven Assisted Living.

Interment will be at 11AM Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Eagle Point National Cemetery in Eagle Point Oregon.

Born September 20, 1919 in Sunrise, Minnesota to the late Frank C. and Flora Y. Spivak, she was a accountant and a homemaker, raising two children. Mrs. Clenin was a graduate of San Diego High School, San Diego Junior College and The University of California at Berkley. She worked at Standard Oil of California in San Francisco, Federal Land Bank, San Francisco Bay Area, and Gerhartz & Company, CPA in Billings, MT, and was a fulltime wife and mother.

Mrs. Clenin was a member of First Baptist Church in Brunswick, where she attended Grace Glory Joy Sunday School Class, and was a past member of Gideon International in OR and MT. She was an accomplished calligrapher, was an exemplary wife and mother, devoted to her family. Arline and her husband Art were very active serving the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ both in their local church in Medford, OR, and in the Gideon Ministry in Oregon and Montana. Arline and Art also enjoyed gardening and spent time together canning fruits and vegetables. For many years she donated her time as a volunteer aide at Hoover Elementary School in Medford, OR.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur F. Clenin, two brothers, Leslie Spivak and Archie Spivak, and a sister, Beryl Holloway.

Survivors include a daughter, Betty Mohr and husband James of Brunswick, a son, Kenneth Clenin and wife Lynn of Bellevue, WA, five grandchildren, James Mohr, Kathleen Mohr, Stephen Mohr, Brian Clenin, and Christy Clenin, 13 nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday, June, 16, 2012 from 10AM until the funeral hour at Twitty Chapel, First Baptist Church of Brunswick, GA.
