Madison, Ind., June 7 (Spl.)--Mrs. May S. Childs, wife of Dr. A.G.W. Childs, died at her home here this morning, following a long illness. She was 76 years old.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Vail Memorial and burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.
She was active in the Current Events Club and had served on the Madison-Jefferson County Library Board for more than 20 years.
Surviving besides her husband, a physician here for 32 years, are a son and daughter, Dr. Wallace Childs, Indianapolis, and Mrs. Kathryn Cassidy, New Haven, Conn.
