MRS. MAY STACEY WAY, 72, formerly of 817 Oak St., died last night in the Althouse Nursing Home after a long illness.
Born in Lawrence, Mrs. Way was a Syracuse area resident 55 years. She was the widow of Samuel Way.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Purdy and Mrs. Raymond Enn; a son, Franklin Way; three sisters, Mrs. Florence Ingersoll and Mrs. Ida Salisbury, both of Fulton, and Mrs. Gladys Darrow of Georgetown; a brother, Ernest Stacey of Fulton; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be Monday at a time to be announced at the Waidelle Funeral Home, 506 Prospect Ave. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
