Anna Maria Stahlberg, was born in Jollenbeck-Bielefeld, Stadtkreis Bielefeld County, Detmold Region, Nordrheim-Westfalen State, Prussia, on the 13th of February 1840.

Anna Marie was the daughter of Herman H. Stahlberg, and his wife, Anna Mary (Kohenmann) Stahlberg. Both of Anna's parents are buried at St. John's Cemetery (Section A; 265).

Anna had married Christian Rehling, on the first of May 1858. Their marriage took place at St. John's Evangelical Church, in St. Louis, Missouri. Christian had been born on 18 March 1838, in Fohrden, Schleswig-Holstein State, Prussia, and died on the 30th of November 1903, in St. Louis, Missouri.

Anna and Christian were parents of four children: Christian Frederick (1859-1922); Anna S. (1861-1917); Emma Sophia Catherine (1862-1938); and Chris (1865-1912).

Henrich Wilhelm Rocklage married widowed Anna Marie (Stahlberg) Rehling on the 30th of September 1873. Henrich Rocklage was also left widowed, with children, after the death of his first wife, Catherine Freese Rocklage had died unexpectedly, on 10 September 1872. Catherine Freese Rocklage

It was noted that both Anna Marie and Henrich Wilhelm had lost their spouses within 13 days of each other in 1872.

Upon the marriage of Henrich Wilhelm and Anna Marie a blended family was formed. Anna's children included: Christian Frederick; Anna; Emma Sophia Catherine; and little "Chris" Rehling. Henrich's children included: Emma Wilhelmine; and Katherine ("Katie").

As time passed, the blended Rehling-Rocklage family continued to grow, with the birth of four more children:
Henriette Katherine Ida; Lena; Heinrich Rocklage, Jr.; and last but not least, Hulda Rocklage.

Henry Wilhelm Rocklage died on the 17th of September 1897, followed by the death of Anna Marie (Stalberg-Rehling) Rocklage's death on the 23rd of September 1901.

Henry Wilhelm Rocklage was buried with his first wife,(Catherine Freese Rocklage) in St. Peter's Cemetery, Normandy County, St. Louis County, Missouri (#61858615).
