Mrs. Gaultney is Claimed by Death
The community was saddened yesterday by news of the death of Mrs. John Gaultney who passed away Sunday at the general hospital in San Bernardino, after an illness of only three weeks. Mrs. Gaultney was 45 years of age and came with her husband and family to Rialto from Illinois three years ago. She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband and six daughters, Mrs. Edgar Powell of Illinois, Mrs. C. L. Chandler of Long Beach, Nannie, Wilma, Fern and Christine. The sympathy of all goes out to the bereaved who have lost a devoted wife and mother. The funeral service was had this afternoon and conducted by Rev. Butcher of the United church. Interment was in Rialto cemetery.
