JOYCE FAYE JOHNSON, 62, of LONG BRANCH, died Thursday, Nov. 30, at St. Barnabas Hospice & Palliative Care Center, Long Branch. She was a maintenance supervisor for Chenega Technology Service Corp., Fort Monmouth, for the past 13 years and a member of Trinity A.M.E. Church, Long Branch. Born and raised in Crisfield, Md., she has lived in Long Branch since 1974.

She was predeceased by her parents, Philip and Addie Sterling; her husband, Emerson Johnson Sr.; and her brother, Philip Sterling. Surviving are five sons, Emerson Jr., Elton, Daryl, Eric, and Anthony; a daughter, Tara Anderson; a special niece, Monique James Whitfield; a sister, Elizabeth James; a brother, Mckinley Sterling; 21 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Saturday until the service celebrating her life at 11 a.m. at the Trinity AME Church, Liberty Street, Long Branch. Interment will follow at Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls. Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch, is in charge of arrangements.
