OBITUARY.
Elizabeth McNulty was born in Adams county (sic), Ohio on the 13th day of April 1832, and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Drusilla Hoppes, in Burwell, Nebraska, May 4th 1914, at the. age of 82 years and 21 days. In the year 1849 she was united in marriage to Robert Stethem. To this union were born four sons and seven daughters all surviving her except two daughters, one of which died in Infancy, the other being a mother and leaving two children. Of the nine living children the following were present at the time of her death, Nathaniel Stethem of Marathon, Iowa; Mary Clark of Verden, Nebraska; Catherene Robbins of Taylor, Nebraska; Dwight Stethem, Matilda Stump and Drusilla Hoppes of Burwell. Three other children living at Pauline, Nebraska, returned to their home some days ago. Funeral services were held at the home of Mrs. Hoppes, on Tuesday afternoon, May 5th, by Rev. E.E. Shafer, of the Methodist church (sic) and on Wednesday morning the body was taken to Spring Ranch, Nebraska, and buried by the side of her husband who died about sixteen years ago.
In this public manner we wish to thank the many friends who so kindly assisted us during the sickness and death of our dear mother. The Children.
