Funeral services for Oletta M. Audas, 78, of Cadiz, were conducted on Sunday, January 29, 2006, at 2 p.m., at King's Funeral Home.

Garry Stanton officiated at the services. Burial followed in Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Hopkinsville.

Mrs. Audas died on Friday, January 27, 2006, at 7:35 a.m., at Hilltop Nursing Home in Kuttawa of natural causes.

Mrs. Audas was born on September 23, 1927, in Trigg County. She was the daughter of the late Bishop and Bertha Gray Stone.

Mrs. Audas was the owner and operator of the former Morning Star Restaurant in Cadiz; and was a member of the Cadiz Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Orbie Stone; and two sisters, Mary Bland, and Goldie Wade.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Morris Audas of Cadiz; a son and daughter-in-law, Stephen Sr. and Barbara Audas of Cadiz; a daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Jimmie Carr of Cadiz; two brothers, Odell Stone of Texas, and Raymond Stone of Cadiz; a sister, Juanita Guier of Cadiz; four grandchildren, Kevin Carr of Lebanon, Tenn., Kim Mitchell of Cadiz, Stephanie Audas of Houston, Texas, and Stephen Audas, Jr. of Cadiz; seven great-grandchildren, Ethan Carr, and Sloan Carr of Lebanon, Tenn., Braylin Mitchell and Briley Mitchell of Cadiz, Stephen Audas, III, and Jenna Stroud of Cadiz, and Kaleigh Flack of Houston, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers were Stephen Audas, Jr., Kevin Carr, Stoney Mitchell, Randy Wade, Russell Guier, and Tim Hughes.

Memorial contributions may be made to Pennyroyal Hospice, 101 West 18th Street, Hopkinsville, KY 42240.
