"Mrs. Willie May Abney, 65, of Powell County, wife of Elza Abney, died at 7 pm Sunday at the Appalachian Regional Hospital in Hazard after a short illness.
She was a native of Oklahoma City, OK a daughter of the late William and Nannie Kates Stone, and she was an antique dealer.
In addition to her husband, survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Katherine L. Woods, CincinnatiOhio and two grandchildren. Steven T. William and Miss Sandra L. Williams, both of Cincinnati Ohio.
Services will be conducted at 1:30 pm Wednesday at the Scobee Funeral Home by the Rev William Keller. Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Steven Williams, Charlie Ray Smith, Belvin Cruse, Cecil Seals, William Mains, and Maynard Woods.
Friends may call at the funeral home 5-9pm Tuesday."
