Granbury – Pearl Armstrong, 85, a homemaker, died Tuesday at a Granbury Hospital. Funeral: 4 pm Thursday at Wiley Funeral Home. Burial: Holly Hills Memorial Park.
Pearl Armstrong was born November 29, 1909 in Hood County. She was a lifelong resident of Hood County and a member of First Assembly of God Church in Granbury.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rondal A. Armstrong. They were married March 2, 1930 in Hood County.
Survivors: Son, A.J. Armstrong of Arlington; daughters, Mary Frances Lawrence of Granbury, Brenda Ard of Fort Worth and Sheila Chandler of Weatherford; brother, Bill Stone of Temple; sisters, Letha Marrs of Granbury and Inez Martin of Jacksboro; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
