Mrs. BARBARA "BOBBY" (CAMPBELL) STONE ADKINS was born in Louisiana about 1865.


She was the bride of James Adkins, Sr. whom she married on February 22, 1893.


Early in their marriage, they made a home for their family in Marshall, Texas in Harrison County. By 1920, the couple relocated their family to a home on Terrell Avenue in Fort Worth, Texas in Tarrant County.


She worked as a homemaker and church worker. Her husband worked for the railroad company.


To their union, five (5) children were born. Their known children were ---

George Adkins

Jennie V. Adkins

Georgia Adkins

James Adkins Jr.



Notes

~ Barbara and her husband and their children were still living in Tarrant County, Texas at the time of the 1930 census, and they were living in Oklahoma at the time of the 1940 census.
