Frances Stoner Roberts, 77, of Madison, passed away Thursday. Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her husband, James Easel Roberts, Jr. and a daughter, Ethel R. Thompson.

Survivors include son, James Easel Roberts, III of Kansas City, MO; daughter, Bonna R. Yost of Bucyrus, KS; sister, Virginia Stoner of Huntsville and Ethel S. Reynolds of Mobile; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
