Formerly of South Boston, Mass., she had served in the U.S. Navy and had retired as a nurse anesthetist at Johnston-Willis Hospital in Richmond.
Survivors include three sisters, Alice Nee of South Boston, Claire O'Brien of Hingham, Mass., and Terese Stravinsky of Dorchester, Mass.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Anna Stravinsky; siblings Ann Taylor, Mary Hurley, Joseph Stravinsky and Patricia Madden; and a beloved friend, Edythe Head.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9, at Storke Funeral Home in Bowling Green. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 10, at St. Mary of the Annunciation Church in Ladysmith. Burial with Navy honors will follow at 2 p.m. at Quantico National Cemetery in Triangle.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church.
