Born on Oct. 1, 1960, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Dolores Hasker Rhoads.
A lifelong resident of Zion Grove, she was a 1978 graduate of North Schuylkill High School.
She was a member of Aurand Memorial United Methodist Church, Ringtown.
She worked in the cafeteria of the elementary school at Shenandoah Valley School District.
Dianne loved the outdoors, fishing, boating and camping, as well as gardening and canning. She also enjoyed needlepoint and crafts and traveling with her friends visiting various wineries.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Tom "Harv" Stravinsky; two daughters, Tonia, wife of Shaun Jordan, Frackville, and Traci Mitchell, Bloomsburg; two brothers, David "Reggie" Rhoads and Wayne Rhoads, both of Zion Grove; nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her faithful Morkie, Jazzy.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Aurand Memorial United Methodist Church, West Main Street, Ringtown, with Pastor Bonnie Yeager officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Dianne's family from 1 p.m. Sunday until the time of service at the church.
Dianne was an organ recipient, having received a kidney from her brother, Wayne, in December 2004. As her legacy, she wished to give back to others and chose to be an organ donor. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Dianne's name are requested to be made to the American Diabetes Foundation, 63 N. Franklin St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701.
