Connie (Stroud) Bauer, age 75 was born on October 21, 1938 to Lloyd and Cecil Stroud. Connie departed this life to be with Jesus and loved ones on February 25, 2014 at 5:30 p.m. at Cox South. Connie was united in marriage to Louie Bauer October 3, 1963.

Connie was a homemaker, she was always thinking about others, wanting to know how they were doing. Connie would help anyone that she could. Connie dearly loved her grandsons and was always a very gentle grandmother to them.

Connie is preceded in death by her husband, Louie Bauer; her parents, Lloyd and Cecil; three sisters, Donzie Stroud, Carol Stroud, Wanda Day; and one brother, Philip Stroud.

Connie leaves behind one son, John Bauer and his wife Tracey; two grandsons, Justin and Jonathon Bauer; one sister, Joan Ratliff; two brothers, William Stroud and Louie Stroud; and one special brother-in-law, Larry Day; and many nieces and nephews.
